There is nothing more frustrating than slowing down a computer, but there are a few ways you can make your computer or laptop faster.

1. Check if there is enough space on the hard disk.

Always try to keep 15% of your hard disk space free so that your computer will be faster.

If the computer is slow, you can check your hard disk. If possible, use Solid State Drive (SSD), SSD is much faster than HDD. OnK also has a cleaning app that deletes temporary files, browser cookies and various unnecessary files, data. You can delete cookies, history on the hard disk using any one clean software.

2. Close Unused Tabs / Close Unused Tabs.

You are working on a big project but you feel like your computer is not performing properly. If this seems to be the case, if your browser has multiple tabs open, close the unnecessary tabs from there. Due to multiple browser tabs the computer becomes very slow.

3 Check your computer's RAM, add more RAM if needed.

RAM is the temporary memory of your computer. The more apps or programs you use, the more RAM you will need, so your computer may slow down if you don't have enough RAM, especially when opening large files or doing multiple tasks at once.

4. Disable startup application.

There are some softwares that start as soon as the computer is turned on and then run in the background, your computer becomes even slower due to having multiple apps running.First go to the startup option from Windows settings and close all the apps. Then press the right mouse button and go to Task manager> startup option and close the app running in the background.

5. Stay away from Third Party Antivirus.

There are many types of antivirus that make your computer very slow, so use Microsoft Defender provided by Microsoft.Microsoft Defender virus is enough for malware.

If Your RAM is low then you should not use the popular Google Chrome.Because Chrome consumes a lot of power. If you open the browser and check the performance of your CPU, you will understand how much pressure Google Chrome puts on it.I would recommend using any browser other than Google Chrome.

7.Change Power Plan

If you are a laptop user, keep the performance 100% from the battery settings, it will provide 100% of the energy from your battery to the CPU if necessary, it will make your laptop faster.
